APPROACH AND INSPIRATION
I am drawn to Botanical Art for the realism and detail required in combining the science of nature with art, in order to create a visually interesting image with an informative quality. I like to focus on the close-up nature of plant-life, particularly leaves, fruits and vegetables, to show something we see every day in its various stages of existence.

BIOGRAPHY
I am a graduate of Sheridan College of Applied Arts, Toronto and The Irish School of Animation, Ballyfermot, Dublin (BCFE Arts), where I studied Classical Animation. From there, I went on to work in Europe and the USA with film studios such as 20th Century Fox Animation, MGM, Don Bluth Studios and Warner Bros on many productions, some of which include ‘Anastasia’, ‘All Dogs Go To Heaven 2’, ‘The Little Polar Bear’ and ‘The Wind In The Willows’.

Apart from my animation and design career, I have always been drawing and painting and my particular interests are Botanical Art and Pencil Portraits.

I currently also work as a Designer and Illustrator, designing  brands for famous landmarks and attractions around the world such as The Burj Khalifa and Legoland Dubai.
